Question by Sara: Does a lawyer usually work at home or outside the home in an office?
Hi guys! I’m just wondering… Do lawyers/attorneys usually work at home through their home-office or are they usually working outside the house in an outside office? What are some of their responsibilities and day like? Thank you so much for your help!

Normally work in an office. I wouldn’t want to meet clients in my home.

- What ever they feel comfortable with. There is no definite answer for this, it really depends on the person, and what they feel comfortable with….Their responsibilities varies on what they like to take on or what they studied to. Say you studied something to do with family matters, so most of your cases will have family oriented issues. In the end, it’s up to you.

They’re free to work wherever they want. However, 99% of the attorneys I know maintain a formal office – either with a law firm or their own in an office building – and then also have a small home office that they can work from in evenings or on weekends.
